Apple Event. September 9th. Yay! It’s finally been announced, and it’s clear that it’s going to based around the iPod. Just like it always has been for events in September. What’s interesting to me is the choice of tag line. Yes, these events always have a nostalgic line from a well known song (or songs in this case), but I think this year’s tag line was chosen for another reason. With all the rumors about an Apple Tablet, I think Apple wanted to subtley quash any hopes that it would be introduced at this event. Using “It’s only rock and roll” as the tag line makes me think that this event will be just that; only about music. No tablet… For now. Guess we have eight days to wait to see if I’m wrong.
